The MED Group formed the Competitive Bidding Institute to help home infusion and HME providers understand and respond to the CMS Competitive Bidding program.
The MED Group Competitive Bidding Institute is a comprehensive program created to assist MED Members through the competitive bidding process and highlights key changes that MED Members will need to make to prepare their companies to compete in “The New Environment.” The program’s end result is to provide MED Members with the tools and services they will need to guide their companies through the complicated competitive bidding program.
Over the last few months, the Competitive Bidding Institute has focused on a series of 50 competitive bidding seminars across the country. These seminars educate providers about the competitive bidding process, the problems and issues faced with Round 1, and how it will influence and effect their bidding in Round 2.
These seminars are packed with a tremendous amount of information that Executives must understand before they decide whether or not to submit a bid, which lines of business to bid on, and what price they should bid. Regardless of their decision to bid or not, and whether they are awarded the final bid or not, we advise the participants that they must understand the impact on their business and what changes they need to be making now. This is where Rock-Pond Reports comes in.
