I have also found that even in this economic climate, health plans will discuss reimbursement issues with providers when data such as Rock-Pond analysis is presented. We were able to challenge outdated drug reimbursement with a Medicaid program that didn't realize that its members were leaking from home infusion into more expensive ambulatory centers. By paying more we were able to demonstrate they saved more.
