Rock-Pond Information Center

The Rock-Pond Information Center is the result of over 10 years of working with home infusion companies to help them get the information they need out of their home infusion software and over 3 years of development to produce a product that was easy to use and addresses the key issues our customers face on a daily basis. Each of the software vendors we work with do a good job of providing the software functionality to run a home infusion business from patient intake through billing and collections. Rock-Pond Reports extends the reporting through close to 1,000 reports that have been developed over the past 10 years. Every report was requested by a home infusion provider who was not able to get the information they needed from their data. This need for information is not going away, in fact it is increasing as the need to integrate systems and provide information in new places and on new devices is on the rise. The Rock-Pond Information center is a foundation product that will meet these needs.

We’ve listened to our customers and they have said that with the expansion of their information needs and our reporting solution, they need to be able to find reports easier, organize them when they find them and stay up to date with what is happening at Rock-Pond so they can take advantage of new reports as soon as they are available.

First I have to be able to find it.

Quick Search

Rock-Pond Solutions has catalogued all of the standard and custom reports for specific customers into our data warehouse that all of our customers can access right from within the Rock-Pond Information Center. Reports are tagged by function, job title of the staff members that might use them, other key words and the title of the report. This makes it very easy to find reports that you are looking for, regardless of what category they are in or what the name of the report is. When you have a specific need you can search by key word and instantly find the reports that you are looking for.

This same search feature is available on our website, allowing anyone to search the reports available for all of the systems we work with and see a sample of the report and how it can be used in their organization. Try it for yourself!

Then I need to organize it.

Organize Views/ Folders

Once you find a report and work it into your daily process, you need to be able to organize it so it is easy to find again. You need to be able to group reports into the order in which they are run so that they support the processes you’ve set up to run your business.

As we worked with various designs, it was clear that most of our customers used Microsoft Outlook. We’ve developed the Rock-Pond Information Center to look and feel like Microsoft Outlook so it would be easy to learn and intuitive to use. Simply create your report groups, name them and move them around like you want and drop the reports that are part of the group into them. Whenever you want to work with the reports in the group, simply click on the group and they will appear in the report list pane. Report groups can be saved and imported so you can standardize the reports that a staff position (such as biller or pharmacist) will use and when they configure their Rock-Pond Information Center they will simply need to import the group.

I need to know when reports are added or changed.

Finally, our customers need to stay current with all of the reports that are available, without having to remember to go look for them and load them into their viewer. 7 years ago when we developed our website to download reports, we felt like we were on the cutting edge. Today, having to go out to the Internet to find what you need is “behind the times”. Our customers want it to automatically be there when they need it. To accomplish this we’ve upgraded our Rock-Pond Connect product to run as a Windows Service, which means that when you start your machine it automatically loads with the other services and keeps your reports current based on the settings you establish when you install it.

The Rock-Pond Information Center contains the Customer Resource Center; this dynamic part of the Information Center is full of useful information, tips and industry news. The Customer Resource Center is constantlybeing updated to help you stay informed about our ever evolving industry.
