Account Executive – Sales

The primary job of the Account Executive is to demonstrate Rock-Pond products to prospective customers and obtain signed contracts.  We need someone with a successful track record selling software or other technology products, someone who understands the value information technology can bring to a health care provider.  Rock-Pond products are innovative and fill a unique need for our customers.  We need someone who can understand this and who has a passion to sell.   

Essential skills

  • We are a data analytics company providing innovative products to the health care industry.  As the initial contact for prospects, you must be very comfortable explaining what this means.
  • Excellent telemarketing phone skills.
  • Product demonstration using both Powerpoint and actual product demonstrations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to understand a customer’s needs and challenges and communicate how Rock-Pond products will deliver value.
  • Obtain signed contracts for Rock-Pond products.
  • Assist with 3 trade shows each year, working the exhibit booth to obtain new customers and meet with existing customers.
  • Self motivated and goal oriented.

Job tasks

  • Organize prospect lists and contact them to set up sales presentations.
  • Perform sales presentations via GotoMeeting to demonstrate Rock-Pond products.
  • Lead the prospect through the sales cycle to obtain a signed contract and add them to our customer list.
  • Document all activities in the Rock-Pond CRM system.
  • Prospecting work to identify potential Rock-Pond customers.
  • Provide input to help improve the sales process and increase sales.
